The first step is always important

I recently applied for a scheme that helps students get into good universities. It is a mentoring scheme where I have to complete an Extended Project and attend a few activities at Kings College London University and if I pass I could gain up to 40 UCAS points which is worth 2 A Level grades. Today I recieved a letter and found out that I have got in. I am so excited and it's such a great way for me to start 2012 on a positive note.

One of the first things I have to do is attend a conference at the University of Leicester. It's really far but it's a great opportunity to get out of London for a day and do something different.

It's really good to look out for schemes or programmes that can help benefit you in the future. There are so many opportunities out there that students can go and apply for.

It seems like now I will be able to post more frequently now.
My next step is to find work experience. I can't wait :)
